 | | | Jason, | | I'm running for Congress in Texas' 33rd District to fight for the community that raised me, and with you by my side, I know we can win. | | It's important you know who I am and what I stand for, so let me share how I got here. | | My story starts with my incredible mom. She raised me on her own in Dallas, taught in public schools, and sometimes worked two jobs to make ends meet. | | | Because of my mom's love and belief in me – and a strong support system of teachers, coaches, and the good folks at our local YMCA – I was able to work hard and earn a full-ride football scholarship to Baylor. I gave football everything I had, and I made it to the NFL. It was truly a dream come true. | | | Soon after, I fulfilled another dream of mine: being a civil rights attorney. I got my law degree and proudly served in President Obama's administration. | | In 2018, I ran for office for the first time – unseating a 22-year GOP incumbent and helping Democrats flip the House blue. It was the honor of my lifetime to represent my home district in Congress, and I fought to ensure all kids had the same opportunities I had growing up. | | Over the last three years, I ran to be Texas' next U.S. Senator (twice!), and I've met thousands of Texans who are passionate about building a future where all of us – no matter your background – can thrive. Together, we built one of the strongest grassroots movements in Texas history. | | | Fast forward to today – I live in Dallas with my wife, Aly, and our two boys. | | | Now, I'm running for TX-33 to make life better for North Texas families, help Democrats take back the House majority, and serve as a critical check on Trump's harmful MAGA agenda. And I need you with me to win, Jason. | | If you want to see me in Congress, will you add your name to personally endorse my campaign today? It would mean the world to have your support. | | | | Thank you for reading – and for joining us in this fight. | | Colin Allred | | | | | | |
