Ya’ll – our primary is right around the corner, and early voting STARTED THIS WEEK! This is a huge moment for our campaign, and today, I have to ask for your help. You see, just as Texans are starting to cast their ballots, I’m facing baseless, misleading attacks from my primary opponent… This is the same person who profited off her stock trades in Palantir, a tech company that’s working with ICE to terrorize our communities. Her attacks against me have no merit. I know who I am and what I’m fighting for, but I need to make sure folks throughout Texas’ 33rd District know it, too. Here’s my story: North Texas is where I was born and raised by my single mom – a public school teacher who often took on a second job to make ends meet. It’s where I spent time at the local YMCA, surrounded by mentors and coaches who gave me the support I needed to become the man I am today. And it’s where my wife, Aly, and I are raising our two boys. My journey from North Texas to the NFL to Congress is anything but ordinary – and it was only made possible because of this community. You can bet I’m going to fight like hell for it. Right now, we’re airing this TV ad – titled “My Story” – throughout the district, and I need your help to keep it live through the primary so we can reach as many voters as possible. (Here’s a snapshot – yup, that’s me riding my bike!)
This community has been there for me in the past, and I’m counting on you again. Ads like these are incredibly expensive to run in the Dallas media market, and without your support, we will have to pull this ad from the air. Friday marks our final major ad buy deadline, and my team tells me we need to raise another $71,674 before then. If you’re ready to send a bold fighter to Congress to stand up for working families and push back against Trump and MAGA’s extremism and corruption, I’m personally asking: Will you chip in a donation to help keep our ads on the air and power our grassroots movement through the March 3rd Democratic Primary?
