Jason, NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani is fulfilling his campaign promises one by one. Last week, he accomplished a big one: 2-K applications officially opened.
That means — for the first time — thousands of New Yorkers will be able to apply for free childcare for their 2-year-olds. It’s a game-changer for so many families.
There’s a lesson here for Democrats: We need to deliver on our promises.
This kind of governing is exactly what the people demanded when they elected Zohran. And it’s what people across the country are desperate for. They are sick and tired of politicians who sell out to the highest bidder. They want leaders who will actually work for them. And those are the kinds of candidates we support.
The reason Mayor Mamdani has been able to do this is not because he’s some kind of political genius, it’s because he had the right values and the resources to back him up. It was possible because of you. With your support, we were able to spend $300,000 as his largest backer in the primary.
