When I first got in this race, people told me I couldn’t win. But here I sit, the Democratic nominee to take back Tom Harkin’s former Senate seat, front-roller in the polls, up 2 over my deeply unpopular Republican opponent. |
But we’re not out of the woods yet. |
D.C. Insiders, Billionaires, and SuperPACs fear the prospect of a guy like me becoming a senator. |
They have the cash advantage and a million dirty tricks to use against me. |
And polls like this scare the hell out of them. If they fail to keep this Senate seat red, they lose their Senate majority and a critical source of power in Washington. |
