I'll get right to it: Our next Texas Ethics Commission (TEC) mandatory reporting deadline is coming up this Saturday, February 19, and we can't afford to be outraised by Greg Abbott again.
As a reminder, here's what the last two public filings showed:

Greg Abbott outraised us in both filings since Beto joined the race, all while adding to his $62 million cash-on-hand. But the good news is that we've shown we have far more grassroots support than Greg Abbott.
Now, we need to show Texans that we can fundraise a lot faster than Abbott and take on his corporate mega-donors. That's why I'm reaching out today to see if you can help us pick up the pace and ensure we outraise Abbott this time around.
Your donation before Saturday's deadline is in investment in the campaign we're building to take on Abbott. Every dollar will go towards building the infrastructure we need to run the largest grassroots campaign Texas has ever seen. And it will show that we can elect the first Democratic governor of Texas in decades without a cent from corporate PACs.
We're already making history. We have over 44,000 folks volunteering — writing letters, calling voters, and talking to Texans at their door. Beto has already been to dozens of counties and met thousands of folks. And as of today, we surpassed our goal of contacting 2 million voters in February — and we're aiming to reach a million more before March 1st.
But, if we're going to reach our goals and win this election, we can't suffer a blowout on the money side.
This grassroots team has had Beto's back before, so I have to ask you personally, Jason: Can Beto count on you to be one of the supporters we need to step up and chip in before Saturday's TEC deadline?
