Hey Jason, Chris here.
You might recognize my name, I've been by Beto's side since our historic run for Senate in 2018. When I found out that Beto was getting in the race to defeat Greg Abbott, I wanted to do everything I could to help elect him as Texas' next Governor.
I've been on the road with Beto for the past nine days as he's driven over 2,000 miles as part of our statewide Drive for a Brighter Texas. We have just one more stop on the drive, a rally in Houston, and we need the funds to finish strong. Jason, we're currently 8% short of our $100,000 goal, so I have to ask:

We've been to so many towns and cities that I can barely keep count, but one thing is clear, Jason: momentum is really building all across the state.
Beto has a big, bold, inclusive vision for a brighter Texas where we create good jobs, fully fund schools, ensure more Texans can see a doctor, and keep the lights on because we finally fix the power grid.
The energy on the road is infectious. Texans understand that while Greg Abbott looks out for his corporate donors, Beto is looking out for the people of Texas.
Together, we will elect Beto and defeat Abbott — but that work starts with making sure we have the resources to close out this statewide drive. After all the miles Beto has driven for us, we can't let him down by falling short.
