Every dollar you give will help ensure Beto can focus on the people of the Rio Grande Valley today and not spend a minute thinking about Abbott's mega-donors.
Jason,
Yesterday, Beto kicked off a weekend of action in the Rio Grande Valley with stops in Edinburg, McAllen, and Harlingen.
While Beto heads to Brownsville and Donna to meet with Texans today, our finance team will be focused on one thing: meeting our $750,000 fundraising goal before tonight's mandatory deadline.
Everything we raise before midnight will become public after we file our report with the Texas Ethics Commission, so falling short isn't an option. Jason, will you chip in $10 or more right now? Let us explain why your contribution is so important.
Lately, our fundraising has slowed down. If we don't pick up the pace, we risk being outraised by Abbott again. In a time of 30-second TV ads and super PACs, the only way forward is to run a people-powered effort like we've never seen before.
We had lofty goals for our fundraising this month, and to be candid, we might fall short if we don't step up the pace now. But worrying about fundraising is the last thing we want to put on Beto's plate right now as he meets with voters.
We don't want to have to ask Beto to take time away from critical campaign events to help bridge this gap. So, we need to try our best to hit this $750,000 goal on our own.
Please, we're relying on grassroots folks like you to help us hit this goal before midnight tonight, so we have to ask again:
Can we count on you to be one of the people we need from CA to step up and help give Beto the resources to compete with Abbott? Every dollar you give will help ensure Beto can focus on the people of the Rio Grande Valley today and not spend a minute thinking about Abbott's mega-donors.
Contribute $10
Thank you.
— Team Beto
