We're still collecting petition signatures to demand Congress keep Ukraine aid and the LNG export pause separate. Have you signed? Add your name now to send a message to Congress that they must keep their promise to fight for climate, not give sneaky favors to Big Oil.
Thank you for taking action,

Did you see this update?
In January, President Biden announced a pause on approvals for liquified natural gas (LNG) exports, rightfully stating, "This pause on new LNG approvals sees the climate crisis for what it is: the existential threat of our time."1
Now Republicans in Congress are pushing for President Biden to undo the pause as a condition for supporting a new Ukraine aid package.2
This is wrong — oil and gas export projects are dangerous and extremely toxic for the environment and for the communities they operate within. Congress must do the right thing and keep the Ukraine aid package separate from the LNG approvals pause. We will hold Congress accountable to their promises to fight for the climate by ensuring LNG projects remain paused. Will you sign our petition today urging Congress to keep them separate and maintain the LNG pause?
The good news is that many Democrats in Congress are already speaking out against this outrageous proposal by pro-fossil fuel Republicans.3 The GOP cannot continue to play political games and use backdoor deals to pass favors to the Big Oil industry. Tying critical Ukraine aid to unpausing the LNG provision is wrong. Please sign the petition to make sure Congress and the White House do not take us backward on climate.
In solidarity,
