There are so many reasons to join the fight for a Green New Deal, but here are three:
- We are running out of time to act on climate. We only have a few more years to take action before our climate reaches irreversible damage. That's why it's critical to continue amplifying our movement to hold President Biden and Congress accountable for protecting our communities and prioritizing our safety.
- 2024 will be a critical year in our fight for a Green New Deal. In 2024, we must pressure President Biden to keep his climate promises from 2020 and support more intersectional climate justice initiatives. The Green New Deal was designed to bridge the gap between climate action, repairing centuries of injustice, and our country's dire need for millions of jobs with livable and fulfilling wages. As politicians across the country prepare to run for office, it's vital that they hear our message that we cannot wait any longer.
- We're a diverse coalition of activists, frontline communities, and organizers. Together, we are joining the call for a greener, more just future. We're taking the time to reach folks where they are at, whether that's online or in person, during our Green New Deal for the People tour. With this tour, we're increasing the pressure on elected officials to meet the scale of the climate, labor, and racial justice crises.
