Greg Abbott and his billionaire friends are going to spend anything to get the Latino vote.
Latinos were the real drivers in the primary election.
And people are starting to take notice. Take a look at these headlines:

Texas Democrats turned out in higher numbers than Republicans. And in majority-Latino counties, turnout surged compared to the last midterm primary. With Latino Texans making up 25% of the state's electorate, that kind of turnout can shape statewide outcomes — especially this November.
I'm especially proud of the Rio Grande Valley, the border region where I was born and raised, and where the vast majority of residents are Latino. In a place that's been overlooked for too long and has seen huge political shifts in recent years, people showed up and made their voices heard loud and clear.
We have a real opportunity to build on the energy we just saw. If we focus on voter contact, share my message, and keep people engaged, we have a real chance of beating Greg Abbott.
We have already seen how the Latino vote can shift outcomes in Texas. We saw it in Taylor Rehmet's race, we saw it in Leander and Robstown, and we're going to see it happen again in November.
There is no doubt that Abbott and his billionaire buddies will spend the next few months competing hard for Latino voters, so we're going to need all of the grassroots support and resources to counter their efforts.
