We don’t want to wish we had done more

We're hosting another Weekend of Action this weekend — January 17th - 20th — before early voting starts on the 21st.

Jason,

Last weekend we knocked on 12,000 doors to turn out voters for Eliz Markowitz. She's running in the most critical special election in the state of Texas, and early voting starts on Tuesday. We don't have much time left, so we're hosting another huge weekend of action starting TONIGHT.

Winning this seat unlocks a much greater chance to flip the Texas legislature from Republican control. It also opens the door to winning an additional six U.S. House seats. That's why this is so important. We have to win here.

But organizing volunteers to win elections requires resources: not only for the canvassing and data tools that we use to organize the event, but for the food, drinks, gas, and more that we help volunteers with.

We need your help to fund this critical organizing work. The national implications are massive. This weekend alone, we're hoping to improve on our numbers from last week, and get 500 volunteers mobilized.

Can you chip in to help Powered By People flip the Texas legislature and win this special election with Eliz Markowitz? Your contributions are SO important to our efforts.

This is a big opportunity — not just for us, but for Texas and all of America. I don't want us to have any regrets. If we lose by 20 or 40 votes, I don't want to look back and think we could have done more.

We know the doors we knock will be the margin of victory here in Fort Bend. That means your support — whether it's inviting your Texas friends to join, or chipping in a few bucks to fuel our volunteer mobilization — can and will be the deciding factor.

Together, we have what it takes to pull this off. So, please, if you've been waiting to contribute to Powered By People, now's a great time to pitch in.

Thank you,

Dan Rowe
