I recently re-joined Team Katie Porter! In Katie's last election to the House, I led our door-knocking program, which helped us defeat nearly $10 million in Republican spending and keep Katie in Congress.
As a native Californian, I couldn't be more excited about Katie running state-wide. She's exactly the leader we need—she hasn't been in Washington for decades, collecting corporate PAC checks. Instead, she's a minivan-driving single mom who effectively holds power to account and will always fight for working people.
Election Day for our campaign is March 5, 2024. We're running in a competitive primary to advance to the General Election in November, and volunteers are going to be a crucial part of our win.
From door-knocking, to phone calls, to text banks, and event help, we're going to need volunteers in every part of the state. And if you're not in California (or would rather help out from home) we'll have plenty of virtual volunteer opportunities as well.
I'll be honest, one of our opponents has consistently outraised us. But Katie isn't worried. As a single mom of three school aged-kids she's used to being on a budget and doing more with less. Having a robust and active network of volunteers will help every dollar we spend go further.
