His willingness to bleed for our civil rights and tireless commitment to making our country a better place inspired me to become a voting rights lawyer. | | I was lucky enough to get to know Mr. Lewis when he joined me on the campaign trail in 2018.
His kindness and optimism was heartening. Even during our country's darkest moments, he was filled with hope for our future. With hope that everyone should get the chance to chase their version of the American dream. | | To this day, Mr. Lewis' legacy inspires me to never stop fighting.
