Hello, Jason.
After the devastating fires in Los Angeles, we have seen an outpouring of volunteers across the region meeting immediate and critical needs alongside our emergency response teams.
Together with Governor Newsom, we want to ensure those impacted by these devastating fires know that you are not alone. To those who are safe and can help, we need you — now and in the months to come as we shift from response to recovery. It is in moments like these that we must continue to rally together, as one California. This is California Love, and together, we are California Strong.
Tomorrow, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we're kicking off our California Love, California Strong campaign by calling on Californians to show support for those affected by the fires. By giving your time, resources, gratitude and love, we will mobilize Californians to rebuild hope and community in the greater Los Angeles region and across the state.
Dr. King once said, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'" On MLK Day, we have an opportunity to answer that call by giving our time and energy to efforts that follow his commitment to equality, justice and community.
Whether you live in the greater LA area or hundreds of miles away, there are so many ways to give – from time, resources, gratitude, and love.
Together, we will continue to offer #CALove and stay #CAStrong.

Jennifer Siebel Newsom
