Lynch was the last Democrat in Congress to vote against the Affordable Care Act, opposing one of the most significant expansions of health care in a generation. More recently, he voted for the Laken Riley Act, helping lay the groundwork for Donald Trump's mass deportation agenda and empowering ICE to expand its campaign of fear in immigrant communities.
