Today we filed our 100th lawsuit against the second Trump administration — this time, for ICE’s illegal practice of making civil immigration arrests at state courthouses.
We’ve reached this milestone of 100 lawsuits filed not because of politics or ideology — but because of the simple fact that Donald Trump is the most lawless president in American history. His administration violates federal and state laws and the U.S. Constitution at an unprecedented pace and scope.
And here’s the part that Trump really hates: we’re winning.
We blocked his executive order to end birthright citizenship.
We stopped his sweeping voting restrictions and protected your ability to vote by mail.
We ended his unlawful deployment of California’s National Guard.
We helped get his illegal tariffs struck down.
And we’ve protected more than $200 billion in federal funding, including $5 billion for California schools and vital food assistance for families.
I could keep going, but here’s the most important point: Trump thinks he can bully California into following his agenda, but whenever he comes after our people, violates the Constitution, or breaks the law, my office takes action — and we deliver results.
This November, I’m asking California voters to re-elect me as your Attorney General so I can keep fighting for the families of this great state. I can’t win without you, so I’m asking: will you chip in to my campaign today? Please pitch in $25, $50, or whatever you can to help power our work.
