The chaos out of Trump's White House is insanity.

Jason,
On the heels of his attacks in Venezuela, Donald Trump is already talking openly about seizing Greenland by any means necessary, including military force.
What timeline are we living in? The chaos out of Trump's White House is insanity.
Americans don't want more "forever wars." Even Trump knows this. It's literally what he ran on. We don't want more imperialism. And even the people who voted for Trump didn't vote for him to instigate international conflicts.
What this shows us is what many of us have known from the start. Trump ran on the idea of destroying many institutions and checks on power because they allegedly didn't serve the people. While our institutions certainly do have their flaws, the most important thing they do is provide a check on people like the President. Now, ignoring those checks Trump is using his power not to help the people but to start new wars.
This moment demands more than simply taking back the House. It demands a better Democratic Party. We are committed to building that party by directly challenging some of the most complacent and least imaginative members of
Congress, those who offer endless explanations for why they cannot confront Trump, but few ideas for what they actually will do. Claiming paralysis because they are in the minority. Yet Republicans have never accepted minority status as an excuse for inaction. We need to build a party of fighters, not folders.
To those members of congress who say we can't do anything I have one message:
Retire and pass the torch to someone who is ready to lead in this moment of crisis or be challenged by them.
We're working to elect a new generation of progressive leaders who will focus on making our lives better and our country stronger, not starting more wars.
Jason, if you believe in the same future that we do, will you pitch in $5 to power our work? We are changing the game and the face of leadership.
