Abbott has stopped listening to, trusting, and working for Texans.
Jason, Governor Greg Abbott has failed Texans.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Abbott has undermined science and public health at every turn.
At the height of the pandemic, he barred school boards, mayors, county judges, and even private businesses from implementing common sense public health measures that could have prevented thousands upon thousands of deaths.
As a result, we've lost over 73,000 of our friends, family members, and neighbors to Abbott's bungled response to the pandemic.
This is happening because Abbott has stopped listening to, trusting, and working for Texans. He's put us all at risk in his efforts to cater to the loudest, most extreme voices in his party.
If you're ready to be a part of this people-powered movement to defeat Greg Abbott and elect Beto O'Rourke to be our next governor, will you chip in $10 or more right now?
In May, Abbott announced that all cities, counties, and public schools could not require masks in the classroom and would be fined if they attempted to do so. As a result, Texas became a national leader in childhood Covid deaths at the start of the school year.
While Abbott's careless decisions have put Texans at risk, Beto has spent decades working to improve the lives of Texans. He'll be a leader focused on protecting Texans from this ever-changing virus. But first, we need to help him defeat Abbott.
Please, contribute $10 or more to fire Abbott and put an end to his extreme and divisive policies. Every donation will go directly toward electing a true fighter for Texans.
Contribute $10
As a fourth-generation Texan and father, Beto understands how important it is that ALL Texans have someone looking out for them.
That's why we're funding this campaign with $5, $10, and $25 grassroots donations from folks like you — because Beto will always be 100% accountable to the people — not lobbyists. Please, will you consider donating $10 today to elect Beto and flip Texas blue?
Thank you,
Beto for Texas
