Former LA Dodger and wealthy Republican, Steve Garvey, got into the race recently.
A new poll released by Emerson College shows that Katie has the support of 13% of likely voters. An Emerson poll conducted in November found the exact same thing.
But in the fall poll, 13% meant second place, which would ensure Katie moves from the March primary to the November general.
Now, 13% means third place, and that means Katie is OUT of the race to be California's US Senator.
You see, a former LA Dodger and wealthy Republican, Steve Garvey, got into the race recently. We've seen him surge in the polls thanks to strong name ID. He just polled at 18%.
If Steve is gaining traction with voters but Katie isn't, we're going to lose.
Katie's message resonates with voters, and polls show that no matter who the other candidate is in the general election, she's in a strong position to win. Right now, we need your help to reach undecided voters ahead of this crowded, competitive primary election on March 5th. Nearly 25% of voters are undecided.
