I count on supporters like you because I don't take any money from corporate PACs. But even taking that pledge doesn't go far enough to counter the influence corporate money has on our government.
I'm the only person in this race who supports banning corporate PAC and federal lobbyist money. I'm the only person in this race who doesn't take money from executives who work for Big Oil, Big Pharma, or Big Banks.
These are simple solutions to countering the absurd level of influence corporations have over policy. Democrats should be leading the way here, but too many of my colleagues have been all too willing to cash these checks decade after decade. So it's no wonder loopholes appear in bills, or we fail to make real progress altogether.
I know it's not going to be easy to ban corporate PAC money. But it starts with electing leaders willing to fight for bold change.
