Hey Jason, Did you have fun watching the Super Bowl last night (aka Bad Bunny's halftime show?) I thought it was incredible! This was truly a historic moment — the first time a Super Bowl halftime show was performed entirely in Spanish. It felt good to see the representation, especially as Donald Trump continues to attack and vilify our Latino communities. While the rest of us were enjoying the performance, however, MAGA supporters hosted their own alternative show featuring Kid Rock and sponsored by Turning Point USA. I'll be honest — I didn't waste a second of my time watching it, I'm sure I didn't miss much. And have you seen the discourse today online? It's been incredibly toxic. Boycotting a halftime show because it's not in English is saying the quiet part outloud folks… It's pretty sad given the message Bad Bunny was sending - America is about love and acceptance, not hate and division. Clearly some people missed that, if only it was on a billboard somewhere.
