Climate change is not a hoax

We can't let Trump undo our progress.

Jason, As a dad to two little girls, I'm constantly thinking about the world we're leaving behind. The science is clear: climate change is real and it's a threat to all of us. In California, we see that reality every year with extreme wildfires. Donald Trump says climate change is a "hoax," but we know better. Scientists have been warning that we are approaching a point of no return. This is the "tipping point" that once we cross, we can never go back. To protect our future, we must accelerate our transition to alternative sources of clean energy. I was proud to help pass the largest clean energy investment in history. We funded thousands of important projects that helped create good-paying jobs, made America a global leader in renewable energy, and was actually helping to reduce our emissions. And it's working! Despite Trump's attacks, we still generated a record amount of clean, renewable energy last year. But now, Donald Trump and MAGA extremists are dragging us backward. They're firing scientists and erasing critical climate research, repealing our clean energy tax credits, blocking offshore wind and solar projects that are already under construction, and rewriting the rules to let big polluters off the hook.
