Friends, I want to talk to you about an important race here in California:
My friend Senator Catherine Blakespear is running for re-election in Senate District 38 after flipping it blue in 2022, and we need her strong leadership in the State Senate.
But SD-38 has historically been a toss-up district, and this year the California GOP is hoping it can flip it back to red to block a Democratic supermajority — so I’m asking you to join me in helping Catherine hold onto her seat.

In her first term in the State Senate, Catherine authored 24 bills that were signed into law — strengthening gun safety laws, closing big developer loopholes, safeguarding our environment, expanding rail service, and securing more than $17 million in state funds for her district.
