Last week, six Supreme Court Justices undermined decades of legal precedent to slash the protections afforded to already marginalized Americans.
First, the Court decided to overturn race-conscious admissions. We can't accept a future without racial justice and opportunity in our education system, and we cannot allow an unelected court to harm our democracy.
Then, for the first time in history—and on the last day of Pride Month, no less—the Supreme Court legalized discrimination against a protected class. We are furious by this decision to legally allow hate.
We need leaders in Washington who will stand up to this corrupt court and demand more for the future of our democracy.
We will not give up fighting for a just society.
Katie is running for Senate because those in power need to be held accountable to the people they're supposed to serve. In the Senate, Katie will fight to clean up corruption through real, substantive legislation. Please consider pitching in to our campaign today.
We will keep you updated on these fights for justice.
