When I ran on Medicare for All in 2018, I was told many times it was a losing strategy. I was running to flip a Republican held congressional district, and conventional logic was that only "moderate" Democrats could win these purple districts.
But I've supported Medicare for All because it will offer Americans the best quality healthcare with the lowest cost to deliver it. It's that simple.
Don't believe the BS from health insurance companies. We don't need a tax increase to afford single payer healthcare. We will save money when our system exists to serve patients—not profits for giant corporations.

I'm still disappointed that when Democrats controlled the House, Senate, and White House, we never even brought Medicare for All to the floor for a vote. That's what I mean when I say Washington is rigged to work for special interests and corporations. And I'm running for the U.S. Senate to change that.
