There are more than three times as many men named "John" in the U.S. Senate as there are moms of kids under 18.
You can help change that. I'm a single mom of three public school kids. I'm running for the U.S. Senate because the status quo isn't working for families all across the country. I'll be the first single mom of school age kids in the Senate, and I'm ready to fight for the things families need to thrive—like affordable college, childcare, and housing. Can you join us?
It's no secret that too many people in this country are working hard and playing by the rules, but struggling to get ahead. That's because the rules are rigged against working people, and we have a Congress made up of rich and privileged people who either don't get it, or are too beholden to their corporate donors to stand up to their BS.
I've been proud to "do Congress" differently—from being the only Member to oppose "earmarks" when Congress brought them back in 2021 (earmarks are a way of funding politicians' pet projects, and invite waste and fraud), to fighting against tax policy that unfairly punished single-parent families.
Now, I'm running to continue our fight for working people and families, not corporate special interests or a handful of wealthy donors. I'd be so grateful if you joined our team and helped fuel our movement: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/kp4s-em-20231025-2?personal=jambrose01.munchkinlegs@blogger.com
Thanks for being here,
Katie
