Katie's back of the napkin math.
Earlier this week Katie reached out to share some back-of-the-napkin math (literally, it was written on the back of an airplane napkin!) to figure out how many supporters we needed to close the gap on our $50,000 mid-month goal.
Since Monday, we've raised almost 82% of our goal, and that's thanks to supporters like you chipping in what they can to our movement.
But that means we still have to raise just over $9,000 in order to reach our goal by midnight tonight.
If just 321 supporters are able to chip in $28 (the average donation to our campaign) we'll be able to keep this campaign on track. Can we count on you to rush a donation of $28 (or whatever makes sense for you) before our midnight deadline?
As a grassroots-funded movement, Katie refuses to take a single dime of corporate PAC or federal lobbyist money. Katie's the only candidate in this race to make that commitment, because she's always believed corporate money has no place in our politics.
