Hello, it's Tiernan, Bob Casey's Campaign Manager, with a quick update on the state of our campaign's budget.
To win a Senate race in a battleground as large as Pennsylvania, we have to make a budget through the end of the campaign capable of carrying out every last part of our plan. This means every dollar we spend is already allocated before we even raise it. It also means that we need to meet every single fundraising goal we set.
That's why I'm reaching out to you today. We're falling behind our goal and will have to cut our budget if we don't pick up the pace. That would be a disaster for this campaign.
We're counting on small-dollar donations from people like you to make up the difference. Without your support, we may be forced to limit our advertising and voter mobilization program during the most important stretch of our campaign, jeopardizing our chances of winning.
