Jason, my husband, Colin Allred, is one of the most selfless, principled people I know. |
At the end of last year, Colin had to make an extremely tough decision. He put his ego aside, ended his campaign for Texas' U.S. Senate seat, and chose to run for Congress in the community where he grew up and where we raise our two boys today.
While Colin was ready to fight for every Texan with everything he had, he knew that if there were three strong Democrats in the primary, it would virtually guarantee a costly runoff and only harm the eventual winner.
If that's not proof that he's the kind of selfless leader Texans need fighting for us in Congress, I don't know what is, Jason. |
But now, Colin is in a runoff election of his own as he fights to represent our community here in TX-33. And it's so important to me and him that we have a grassroots coalition standing with him.
