According to the latest data, at least 20 incumbent House Democrats are facing real primary challenges, with opponents who’ve raised at least $200,000 in 2026.
Here at Leaders We Deserve, we aren’t surprised at all. That’s because Americans are sick of the status quo — and they’re ready for leaders who answer to them, not corporations and special interest groups. That should not be too much to ask.
We’re supporting multiple progressive primary challengers in this year’s elections: Justin J. Pearson, Donavan McKinney, Patrick Roath, and Christian Menefee. And last quarter every one of them outraised the incumbent they’re up against.
The work we’re doing has the power to change Congress, and our country, for the better. This is a long-term goal, but we can make real progress this year by electing this bold slate.
We don’t have corporate PACs like the incumbents. We have something better. We have the strength of thousands of people coming together everyday to fight for their future.
