In December, I made the tough decision to end my bid for the U.S. Senate and instead run for Congress in Texas’ 33rd District. |
TX-33 is newly created, drawn by the GOP as part of their all-out effort to gerrymander our maps and hold on to power. It honestly shouldn’t even exist. But it’s my home, and you can bet I’m going to fight like hell for it. |
We have an incredible chance this November to make lasting progress in Texas and across the country. I know we can fix our broken system – which puts billionaires first and working families last – and secure a future where all of us can truly thrive. |
But it won’t be easy, and we have to be united. We have to compete in the places where we have the best chance of doing the most good. And for me, that’s right here at home in TX-33 – the community that raised me and where I’m now raising my family. |
