Tomorrow is an important day for our campaign, y’all. It’s our last end-of-month fundraising deadline before the runoff election on May 26. It’s our last chance to show our opponent exactly what she’s up against. It’s our last big fundraising push to ensure we have the critical resources we need to reach voters before they head to the polls and cast their ballots. And it’s our last major moment to prove the strength of this grassroots movement. To be honest, this election cycle has had its ups and downs. For five months, I’d put everything I had into my campaign for U.S. Senate, traveling to every corner of Texas and meeting folks in union halls, churches, barbershops, and more. The energy was palpable, and it was clear that many Texans were in it with me until the end. However, it was also clear that the Democratic primary was only headed toward a bruising, costly runoff – one that I believed would make us collectively weaker in the fight against MAGA Republicans. If we wanted to prevent a Trump loyalist from representing our state for six more years, that just wasn’t a risk I was willing to take. So, last December, I ended my Senate campaign and dropped out of the race. It was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. I thought of all of the Texans I’d met on the road – including those from my 2024 campaign – and the personal stories they had shared with me. They told me their hopes and dreams, their fears over what was happening across the country. They placed their trust in me. I felt a responsibility to put my ego aside and do right by them. Now, I couldn’t be prouder to be running for Congress in Texas’ 33rd. I was born and raised here in Dallas, so it truly means the world to me to be in this fight. The irony of all of this, though, is that I’m facing a runoff myself in less than four weeks. I’m up against Rep. Julie Johnson, someone who personally profited from investments into ICE’s cruel mass deportation operation, who is one of the most active stock traders in Congress since taking office in 2025, and who has received hundreds of thousands of dollars from corporate PACs. Meanwhile, I never traded a single stock while I was in Congress, and I don’t accept any money from corporate PACs. I’m here to serve you, not special interests like them. I’m confident that if we work together, we can defeat Johnson and secure a better, brighter future for everyone who calls Texas’ 33rd home. But that confidence is built in preparation. We have to put in the work, and right now, this is our final chance to raise what we need to finish this runoff strong. That’s why I’m humbly asking for your donation today. With just one day left until our crucial and final end-of-month deadline, will you chip in $25 or more to help me win the runoff on May 26 and power our campaign all the way to November? I’m ready to return to Congress, and unlike my opponent, I will never bend the knee to this administration. Thank you for standing with me. Colin Allred Paid for by Allred for Texas

Confidence Is Built in Preparation
