What was your favorite food growing up, Jason? |
Mine was ramen noodles. You might think that answer is a bit basic, but for me, they were quick, tasty, and even better with tons of hot sauce – and to be quite honest, they were one of the few foods we could afford on my mom’s salary. |
I was raised by a single mother who worked as a public school teacher. And like so many hardworking Texans, my mom did the best she could to provide for our family, and she always taught me to follow our shared Texas values even when times were tough. |
I got into politics because I know the struggle Texans are facing firsthand, and I refuse to sit by and watch them miss out on their American dream. |
Trump’s Republican Party today refuses to even recognize how hard folks are struggling right now. That's why I'm running for Congress – to bring real, meaningful change to the people of TX-33. Someone who will fight for them day in and day out. But if we’re going to win, I need your help. Families all across my district – and frankly, the entire country – are struggling to get by, just as mine did growing up. Gas prices are up. Housing costs are through the roof. Even groceries are too expensive. |
The difficult choices I watched my mom make while I was growing up have shaped the policies I'm fighting for today: making child care more affordable, lowering everyday costs, and expanding support and opportunity for our kids and the families who care for them. |
TX-33 deserves a representative who knows what it's like to come home from work exhausted, to sacrifice for their family. Texans deserve better than the GOP and their harmful policies. |
I'm running to win a racially gerrymandered seat that the GOP redrew so they could hold on to power in the House. But if I’m going to stand a chance against the GOP’s corporate millionaire donors, I need you with me. That's why I'm asking you, Jason, as someone who truly knows the value of a dollar: Will you chip in $5 to power this grassroots movement forward? Every dollar brings us one step closer to reaching the voters we need to win TX-33 and flip the House blue. → |
