June was the biggest month in Leaders We Deserve history. Full stop. We won more races in a single month than we ever have before.
I went from calling a candidate to congratulate them on their endorsement to jumping on a campaign strategy call, to getting on a train to knock doors with Claire Valdez in New York. Sometimes all in the same day.
Here’s a quick recap of our June wins:
✅ Graham Platner won his US Senate primary in Maine, beating the establishment’s pick
✅ Randy Villegas won his primary in CA-22 — a race that could decide who controls the House
✅ Mai Vang won her primary in CA-07, taking on a 47-year political dynasty
✅ Ruwa Romman won her runoff in GA-SD-7 after getting outspent nearly 3-1
✅ Claire Valdez won her primary for Congress in NY-07 by 20+ points
✅ Aber Kawas won her primary for State Senate in NY-SD-12 by 20+ points
✅ Matt Post won his primary in MD-HD-14
✅ Spencer Dixon won his primary in MD-HD-32
So I truly mean it when I say, THANK YOU! Months like this are only possible because of your support.
That’s why I don’t want you to just read about these wins, I want you to know that you own a piece of them. Every door that got knocked, every ad we helped run, every candidate we were able to support from launch to primary day — you’re the reason we can do all of that.
Thank you for that, genuinely. I’m forever grateful that supporters like you believe in our work and what we’re building together.
On top of all those wins, we just smashed our end-of-quarter fundraising goal, which means we can keep doing exactly what we’ve been doing all cycle long: backing young, fearless leaders who will truly fight for working people and give us all a reason to hope for the future.
There’s so much more to come, Jason. Let’s keep this energy up and keep stacking our wins.
