I’ll level with you. Political fundraising emails are bullsh*t.

“The sky is falling.”

“If you don’t donate, it means you support Trump.”

“Trump is BEGGING you not to donate.”

None of that is real, and we all know it. But here’s what is real: Susan Collins and GOP mega-donors have already raised over $60 MILLION to flood the airwaves with TV ads attacking me and boosting Collins.

Today, State Democrats Committee and I are scrambling to fund our voter turnout operations fully – we need to raise $500,000 before midnight. With Susan and her allies spending so much on the airwaves, we need a strong ground game to fight back and move undecided voters in our direction.

So I’m asking you: Can I count on you to chip in whatever you can before midnight so State Democrats Committee and I can fully fund our voter turnout operations before midnight? I wouldn’t ask if it weren’t important. >>
