Hi Jason! It's Rob again. On Thursday, I told you Beto has a SUPER important end-of-quarter fundraising deadline and a $750k goal. I also noted we would meet that goal if 2 people in the 90291 zip code area donated. That's based on the number of Beto supporters near Venice.
It sounds ridiculously easy, but it's the truth. Just two people would put us over the line. Now, the good news is someone from your area already donated! Their name was Larena from Venice (yes this is a real person).
That's a great start. But we're not going to make it unless we get two people in your area. So, I really need your help right now.
I wouldn't be emailing you so much if this deadline weren't super important. But I know exactly what's going to happen if we don't meet this goal... and it's not good. Our numbers will be made public in the FEC's official report. People are going to gauge them as a sign of the strength of Beto's campaign.
So you know what we need to do. We need to hit this goal and post some big, impressive numbers. That being said, can I count on you to be the final person we need in the 90291 area to donate now before the deadline?
