In just a moment, I'm going to ask you to make your first donation to Beto's campaign. But before I get to that, I hope you'll give me a chance to explain why it's so important in this immediate moment.

The DNC rules require a minimum number of donors to qualify for debates. For the first debates, you needed 65,000 donors to get on stage. For the second debates, you needed 130,000. We don't know how many will be required for the third set, but it could be 260,000 if the DNC doubles the requirement once again.

Right now, Beto is at 213,404 donors. If we don't add another 47,000, we could be at risk of getting kicked off the debate stage for the third round.

You haven't donated to Beto yet. Your gift could be the deciding factor in whether or not we make it to the debate. So here's what I'm asking:

Can you donate just $1 right now? It doesn't have to be much — whatever you can give right now would make all the difference to us.
