It’s been just over two weeks since I kicked off the Whiteboard Warriors Tour, hosting town halls across the state—and I want to share exactly what I’ve been hearing.
No matter where I go, the message is the same: working people are just stretched too thin. They’re doing everything right, and still falling behind.
I’ve talked to parents working full-time who still can’t afford child care. Small business owners who are barely hanging on while big corporations rake in record profits. Families watching their budgets tighten every month as rent keeps going up.
These are real problems happening in every corner of our state, and they won’t be solved by politicians who don’t live them.
I’m a single mom. I’ve had to budget every dollar, struggle to make cuts, and figure out how to make it all work. And I’ll tell you this: the people in charge right now aren’t feeling that pressure—but they should be.
I’m running for governor to put working Californians first and tackle the affordability crisis head-on. That means single-payer health care, free child care, less expensive housing, and more.
This tour is about more than just sharing my plan. It’s how I hear directly from Californians and fight to make these solutions real.
And I’m doing it without taking a single penny from corporate PACs—because we deserve a governor who isn’t owned by billionaires or special interests.
