Jason, my journey to this point in the election has been long and hard – but it’s all been worth it because of grassroots supporters like you chipping in what you can, when you can. Let me explain. |
In December, I ended my bid for the U.S. Senate and launched my campaign for Texas’ 33rd district, a newly drawn district that only exists because it was racially gerrymandered by the GOP. |
It was one of the most difficult decisions I’ve ever had to make – but with Texas’ critical Senate seat at stake and Democrats not needing a long and bruising runoff on their hands, it was clearly the right one. |
Instead, I turned my focus toward running for Congress in the community where I was born and raised and where I’m currently raising my own family. |
The momentum behind our campaign has been amazing. We were leading in the primary election by double digits, but came up just short of the 50% needed to avoid a runoff.
Now, I'm ready to fight harder than I ever have before in the final stretch of this race. But we spent nearly every dollar we had to win the primary. That's why I’m relying on $5 and $25 donations from folks like you to reach as many TX-33 voters as possible over the next six weeks. |
So if you still believe in me, if you're ready to take back the House for Democrats and fight for a better future for North Texas and our country, I’d be honored if you’d chip in today to help me win my runoff election. Can I count on you, Jason? |
