I wanted to make sure you didn't miss a key campaign update from last month.

Michael Whatley, the far-right lobbyist President Trump handpicked to run against me, is gaining ground in the polls.

Meanwhile, we recently learned that PACs aligned with Trump and the far-right have raised truly massive amounts to spend for the GOP ahead of the midterm elections. Since our race is the key to the U.S. Senate majority, we expect them to direct a lot of it our way.

With this in mind, I have to make a humble request for your support now.

Team, I really am grateful every time someone chooses to invest in our work — I know it's not always easy to decide where to give. There are different campaigns competing for your attention and real-life priorities that determine whether folks are in a position to give.

But a gift of any size — $1, $100, or anything else — would go a long way today.

We're taking on the GOP with grassroots support, but without meeting our fundraising goals, we won't be able to keep up with far-right spending. In a toss-up race like ours, falling behind could tip the scales against us. Please donate any amount to split between our campaign and Heartland Patriots.
