In just the last few days, more than $2 million in special interest money has poured into this race to stop Nida Allam. The opposition is flooding the airwaves with attack ads because they're scared — they know Nida has what it takes to win.

Nida is the first congressional incumbent challenger we're backing this year. She's taking on Rep. Valerie Foushee, an incumbent Democrat who has left working North Carolinians to suffer while she prioritizes holding onto power and stacking money from the corporations who prop her up.
Jason, tomorrow's race is about proving that young progressives can put up a fight. That no seat is safe when leaders refuse to be accountable to the people who elected them. And that corporate-backed politics can be challenged — and beaten.
This election comes down to who we trust to carry our values to Washington, stand up to corporate power, and finally put working people first.
Nida Allam is that leader.
She's not running because she "waited her turn." She's running because working families in North Carolina deserve a leader with integrity who understands the issues they're up against — and has already delivered for her community.
If Nida wins tomorrow, it sends a message far beyond North Carolina: bold, principled leaders who are unafraid to challenge the status quo are the future of this party. Leaders who don't just talk about their values, they put them into action.
But winning this race takes real resources. We need to counter the last-minute spending and make sure we reach every voter in the district before polls close.
