I’m a single mom who pushes a shopping cart, and I see just how expensive life has gotten in California.
I don’t need a pollster to tell me families are getting squeezed—I see it every day at the grocery store, the gas pump, and the kitchen table.
And these problems didn’t start with Donald Trump. Housing was already too expensive. Child care already costs too much. Families were already drowning in health care bills and utility costs.
Californians don’t need another politician pointing fingers and making excuses. They need somebody willing to grab a whiteboard, follow the money, and actually fix what’s broken.
That’s what I’ve spent my career doing—taking on Big Oil, Big Banks, and insurance and drug companies that have been ripping off families for years.
I’m running to deliver real relief: lower housing costs, free child care, single-payer health care, and a government that works for people who push shopping carts.
Right now, too many families are being priced out of the communities they grew up in, work in, and love. They deserve better.
With just eight days until the June 2 primary, voters are making their final decisions right now about who they trust to deliver on that change.
I’m ready to do the work, but I can’t close this out alone. While others in this race rely on corporate cash, I rely on this grassroots team.
Thank you,
Katie
