Hey, it’s Rob Sand, the Democratic nominee for governor in Iowa.
While my campaign is busy building the biggest tent and the broadest base of support in Iowa history, my partisan opponents are doing what they always do: slinging mud and pointing fingers.
Some bigwig D.C. GOP party bosses launched a brand-new statewide TV attack ad against me this month.
My usual policy with bad-faith attacks is to just keep it pushing. And TBH, the ad isn’t much to write home about.
Buuuuut in an election this close, an attack ad could make a difference on the margins, and the margins are going to decide this race in November.
That’s why it’s really, really important that we run both of my campaign ads in every TV market across the state — everywhere this “attack” ad is running. They correct the record about my record and pitch my accountability agenda to voters who might not hear about it otherwise.
I’m coming up against my May digital fundraising deadline.
