Most Jewish Americans have experienced antisemitism like this firsthand. But recently, such bigotry has manifested into dangerous violence. Last year, we saw a record number of physical assaults and attacks with deadly weapons against Jews. |
My bipartisan legislation aims to make our Jewish communities safer by making $1 billion in security investments for houses of worship and other nonprofit institutions. It will also mandate a new federal framework to combat antisemitism on college campuses. And it will require social media sites to demonstrate how they handle antisemitic content on their platforms. |
But there is so much more work left to do to protect Jews from the scourge of antisemitic violence. It’s work that requires dedication, steady leadership, and long-term commitment.
