We’re about to ask you to chip in a $5 donation split between State Democrats Committee and Roy Cooper’s Senate campaign in North Carolina – but first, we want to give you five reasons why it’s so important that you do:

1. Experts say that Democrats have no chance at retaking the Senate without winning North Carolina’s toss-up seat.


2. Fortunately, The New York Times reported that North Carolina is the best pickup opportunity for Democrats on the map.


3. GOP super PACs are committing to invest nearly $100 million so far on attack ads to stop that from happening – and this is projected to be the most expensive Senate race in history.


4. Now, with a poll showing Roy neck-and-neck with his MAGA loyalist opponent, it appears the GOP’s investments are working.


5. Unless we reach our $1.5 million end-of-quarter goal before June 30, we won’t have the grassroots resources to fight back.
