Spring may be in full swing, but let’s get one thing straight: Our state was built by winter soldiers.
Let me tell you what I mean: Summer soldiers are willing to fight when the conditions are perfect. Winter soldiers are built different. They face the weather head on and march forward — much like Marylanders. They show up when times are hard.
We’ve got our work cut out for us, but Aruna Miller and I are going to continue leading our state forward so we can deliver safety and affordability for families all across our state.
We’re not backing down. But we need this team behind us. Our opponents are going to come at us with everything they’ve got, all through this summer and fall, and we need the resources to go all across the state and fight their narratives.
