BREAKING: Republican Steve Hilton is our opponent in the general election for California Governor!
We’re entering a new stage in our fight, and we cannot afford to slow down. I can’t win the general election against a Trump loyalist on my own.
So I am asking you directly:
My parents, Manuel and Maria, came to this country with $12 in their pockets. That’s it. $12 to build a life for my family. I was born and raised in Sacramento, where they taught my siblings and me the value of hard work.
My father worked in construction. My mother worked clerical jobs. It wasn’t easy. But they worked hard and saved every penny they could to provide a better life for their children.
Despite those humble beginnings, they were able to own a home, send the four of us kids to college or the military, and set aside enough to retire with dignity.
To me, that’s the California Dream – and that’s what I’m fighting to defend in this race for California governor.
Because today, despite having the largest economy in the country, that dream of owning a home, raising a family, and retiring with dignity is all too hard for Californians to attain. That’s why I’m promising to build our state’s economy, create opportunities and lower costs for working families, and protect the California we all love. And it’s why I am in this fight.
But the second half of this race will be no easy feat.
We’re officially up against Trump’s handpicked MAGA lackey, Steve Hilton. He’s going to have the might of the MAGA machine behind him and millions at his disposal to tear down our grassroots movement.
We need to be ready for anything that comes our way and keep California out of MAGA's hands. So I am asking personally:
Let’s win this race — together.
