For years, Amazon has been secretly manipulating its digital advertising auction process — rigging billions of auctions and illegally overcharging businesses that use its platform to advertise. Amazon has violated multiple federal and state laws, so we’re taking the company to court to deliver justice. Businesses — especially small businesses — are already struggling to stay afloat in this economy. The last thing they need is a colossal company worth trillions of dollars ripping them off. But that’s exactly what’s happening. Bottom line: Amazon can both be wildly profitable AND follow the law. The company doesn’t need to break the law just to squeeze more out of its customers — and we’re not going to allow them to.
