In just a moment, I am going to ask you to make a contribution directly to the Virginia Democratic Party. Please give me a chance to explain why this request is so important.
Here's the truth:
There aren't a lot of elections in 2023, but one big exception is Virginia where the entire State Senate and House of Delegates are up for grabs.
Both chambers are close. And because Republican gerrymandered districts have been eliminated, Democrats have a chance to win everything.
But they can't do it alone. They are going up against a lot of big money and a Republican Governor. So that is why I am asking you to contribute $3 directly to the Virginia Democratic Party today:

$3 because with a Republican Governor, there is so much at stake in this election: A woman's right to choose, common sense gun safety, access to textbooks in our schools that do not white wash our nation's history.
$3 because the Virginia Democratic Party can allocate our combined resources where they are needed and when they are needed to take both chambers.
