Hey, this is Paul, and my mom is Katie Porter. Sometimes when we're in an airport or at the grocery store it feels like everyone knows her.
Sometimes, a super fan even sees us in the minivan and freaks out.
So while you might be a loyal reader of these emails and would recognize Katie Porter anywhere, a November LA Times poll found that nearly half of likely voters have no opinion of my mom, and about a third of voters haven't decided who they'll vote for in the Senate race.
